From September 22 to September 29, the Battle for Control of Arrakis commences! Dune: Awakening Twitch streamers will rally beneath the banners of House Atreides and House Harkonnen in a week-long event in support of charity: water.
Watch creators brave the dangers of Arrakis, complete challenges, earn XP, and fight to raise their House’s Influence. Every action counts as the two Great Houses compete – not just for dominance, but to help unlock real-world donations to bring clean and safe water to communities around the world. Who knows the importance of water better than the Dune: Awakening community?

A Battle for House Influence
Participating streamers will choose a side: the honorable House Atreides or the ruthless House Harkonnen.
Throughout the campaign, creators will play Dune: Awakening and complete in-game challenges to earn XP for their chosen House. That XP contributes to House Influence, advancing Atreides and Harkonnen toward community milestones.
Stream overlays created by GetRekt will bring the rivalry directly to each livestream, so viewers can follow the campaign’s progress and see how their House is faring throughout the week.

Viewers Can Shape the Fight
This is not a battle fought by streamers alone. At select moments during participating livestreams, viewers will be able to interact with the event system and help their favorite creators earn additional XP. Use chat commands at key moments to support your chosen House and help push Atreides or Harkonnen toward the next Influence milestone. Every completed milestone brings the community closer to new rewards – and to unlocking charitable donations.
Unlock Cosmetics and Donations
As the total House Influence rises, the event will reach multiple milestones unlocking giveaways for streamers. Viewers will be able to get the Raiders of the Broken Land DLC or a range of new and returning in-game cosmetic items:
- Atreides Battle Rifle Skin
- Maula Pistol Richese Skin
- Atreides Warship Carving Wall Decoration
- A Memory of Pain Mural
Once a giveaway is unlocked, streamers will decide when they want to trigger the giveaways on their channel.
More importantly, the milestones will also unlock guaranteed charity donations from Funcom. When the community reaches a qualifying Influence threshold, it unlocks a donation to charity: water. Together, we can unlock up to $20,000 USD in donations over the course of the campaign.
