Greetings Sleepers, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today <\/strong>we\u2019re closing several lower\u2011population Worlds as part of our ongoing effort to rebalance server populations.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we\u2019ve mentioned before, Server Migrations<\/strong> will give you the ability to choose which World you want to move to. Migrations into our most popular Worlds\u2014such as Pax<\/strong> and Harmony<\/strong>\u2014will be limited, and our goal is for most characters to spread across less populated Worlds to keep the overall experience healthy and stable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know many of you are feeling uncertain about these changes. Some of you have told us you prefer quieter Worlds or enjoy playing solo. We hear you. We\u2019re actively developing additional options for players who want a more private experience, including Self<\/strong>\u2011hosted Servers<\/strong> and expanded Private Server<\/strong> features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Server Migrations work  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Scenario 1: Your character is in a World that is NOT closing<\/strong>  <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If your World is not on the list at the bottom of this article, or you didn\u2019t receive a message on your World closing when logging in to Dune: Awakening, your World is not part of this Server Migration and no action is needed. You can keep playing normally.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scenario 2: Your character is in a World that IS closing\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Characters in affected Worlds will go through a Character Transfer process.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the World closes:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • When you are on the Server Browser, you\u2019ll choose which World to migrate to\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Your bases can be redeployed in a new World using the Base Reconstruction Tool\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All your vehicles will also be backed up in your Vehicle Backup Tool, which will have a new \u201cAuto Transfer\u201d section. This section will allow you to recover all of your transferred vehicles. NOTE! Any inventory in the vehicle will have been dropped.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    If you do not already own a Base Reconstruction Tool and Vehicle Backup Tool, you will receive one through the Claim Rewards menu.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To claim it:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Press Escape (or Start on controller)\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Open Claim Rewards\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Collect your Base Reconstruction Tool and Vehicle Backup Tool<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      If your base was designed in a way that it only works for a very specific location, in a specific position, you can use Snap to Origin in the tool to reposition it automatically to its original location. If the location is already taken in one Sietch, you can try another one.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Vehicles stored in the Vehicle Backup Tool will transfer normally.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Scenario 3: You want to move your character to a Private Server or Self-Hosted Server <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This will work largely like Scenario 2. But keep in mind that it is a one-way trip and you won\u2019t be able to transfer that character back to an official World. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The Worlds listed below are scheduled for closure.  If your World does not<\/strong> appear here, it will remain active.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
