We have also made it possible for a character\u2019s progress to get transferred if you buy the game during or after the Trial.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s go over what the Free Trial encompasses in detail.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Play for free for 10 hours until August 24th<\/strong>. The timer only progresses when you are playing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Explore the entirety of Hagga Basin!<\/strong> Only Harko Village, Arrakeen, and the Deep Desert are unavailable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Keep your progress<\/strong> if you buy the game! More details below.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>F<strong>ree Trial characters will play on dedicated Free Trial servers<\/strong>, meaning they may encounter other Free Trial players, but not those who have purchased the game.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NOTE: In case you want to keep the possibility of playing with friends who own the game by buying the game after trying the Free Trial, you must select the World (group of servers) on which your friends\u2019 server exists. Then, after you have purchased the game, you will be able to transfer your Free Trial character to any server within that World.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Get rewards when you buy the game.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Desert Mechanic cosmetic items are unlocked when you buy the game during or after the trial. These cosmetics are also available to existing players at in-game vendors.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get a bundle of basic materials when you buy the game, to help you quickly rebuild your base.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>As we mentioned, character progress is kept if you purchase the game. We want to be completely clear about what that includes and doesn\u2019t include, however.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The following is transferred when going from Free Trial to purchased game:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Character journey progress, level, skill and tech points\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Character backpack contents\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The following is not transferred when going from Free Trial to purchased game:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your base (although if you progress very quickly, you can blueprint your base and keep that).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicles (this too can be circumvented by backing it up with a vehicle backup tool).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than 10,000 Solaris.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Invite your friends, Sleepers, to the crucible of Arrakis. Let them find their way. We\u2019ll leave you with a quote from <em>Dune<\/em>:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u201cA poison &#8211; so subtle, so insidious&#8230; so irreversible. It won&#8217;t even kill you unless you stop taking it.
