Dune: Awakening has finally arrived on consoles! We’re very excited to open the gates to Arrakis to new survivors, and we can’t wait to see you out there on the sands.
The console version arrives with the brand-new update that includes a full single-player mode, the epic conclusion to the story in Book One, new gameplay customization options, scalable difficulty, and more.

A new and improved Dune: Awakening
Beyond the most recent update introducing single-player and more, new console players and returning PC players will discover a myriad of additions and enhancements that have been made to the PC version since last year.
This includes optional PvP, a greatly improved endgame, new areas to explore, and much more. This is undoubtedly the best version of Dune: Awakening yet; a new way to experience the wonders and challenges of the open world of Arrakis.

Filmic Archive DLC out now on all platforms
Launching alongside today’s console release, the new Filmic Archive DLC is now available on all platforms.
This cosmetic DLC brings iconic looks inspired by Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two into Dune: Awakening, letting you infuse your character, gear, and base with the power of the Imperium. Equip iconic armors and stillsuits, build a formidable Sardaukar base with 73 new building pieces, and complete the look with exclusive decorative pieces, weapons, and emotes.
From the Caladan Stormcoat worn by Duke Leto and Paul in Dune: Part One to the Aegis of an Unwalked Path armor drawn from Paul Atreides’ visions of the Fremen holy warriors in Dune: Part Two, now you can look the part of a true master of Arrakis.

This is Dune: Awakening on console
Dune: Awakening on PlayStation 5 and XBOX is available in a standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate edition. The PlayStation 5 version is also available as a physical edition, available online and in stores throughout North and South America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. It’s also releasing in Japan on October 29th.

Dune: Awakening offers two modes on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and XBOX Series X: Performance (60fps, Dynamic 4K) and Quality (30fps, Dynamic 4K). The PlayStation 5 Pro and XBOX Series X offers a higher native resolution and enhanced visuals in Quality Mode. The game’s UI and controls have also been fully adapted to console, and you will find haptics being used to its fullest as the deadly rumble of the sandworm kicks in.
The game is also fully XBOX Play Anywhere enabled, allowing you to carry over your progress regardless of what XBOX platform you play on. That includes XBOX Series X|S, ROG XBOX Ally, XBOX Cloud Gaming, and Windows Store.
The game is also available with XBOX Game Pass, and members can also choose to upgrade to Deluxe or Ultimate at 20% off.

We’re hoping as many survivors as possible will join us in this new era for Arrakis, and everyone who does will be richly rewarded.
Jump into Dune: Awakening at any time between September 17th and October 22nd to receive the Matron’s Décor, a collection of placeables for your base.
We’re also excited to share that a new Community Challenge will debut on September 25th! The event has been given the ominous name of El Sayldam: The Rain of Blood and is designed to engage every player on Arrakis: current, new, and returning.
The event will be open for players on every platform to participate in.
Will you rise from survival to greatness?
The launch of Dune: Awakening on console as well as the new major update for all platforms is a major step forward for the game, and we’re very excited about the future that lies ahead of us.
There is a lot coming up, including the new Polar Cap survival map releasing later this year. The map will introduce new areas to explore, new cold-based survival mechanics, and a new standalone storyline. We’re also working on new cosmetics to coincide with the release of Dune: Part Three, the third instalment in Legendary Entertainment’s and Denis Villeneuve’s blockbuster franchise.
