Physical Edition
If you’re looking to have Dune: Awakening directly in your hands or proudly displayed in your home, you can! Gamescom
You can expect us once again at Gamescom! Find us in Hall 6 between August 26th-30th in Cologne, Germany where you’ll be able to get your hands on our upcoming console version and single-player mode. Come say hello!
Developer Deep Dive
The beautiful concept art we have to share with this issue is the Water Shipper Drillshot and Water Shipper Rapier by our Senior Concept Artist, Ricky Westwood.
For the Water Shipper weaponry, we wanted to continue the flowing lines & covered workings we had laid down with their version of the scout ornithopter but bring in elements of the character designs (such as the padding motifs) and therefore bridge these design languages further.
Finally, we wanted some piece of shared industrial identity that would affect the silhouette, the circular motif works well for this.

A beautiful Crysknife by u/Agreeable-Worker7659. How it was made: “The model was printed with a 0.2mm nozzle on P1S from a white PLA and then stained with tea and some alcohol inks to give it that bone look and painted with epoxy and polished. The hilt was painted with a silver spray paint and the crevices in the handle were filled with stained epoxy for some extra depth.” More pictures and comments here on Reddit!

Thatguykal on Discord has created an amazing watch face using Garmin SDK. They commented some details on how it works: “Stamina is hooked up to the stress metric so it decreases with stress. Health is hooked up to recovery, so it goes down as you do exercise and goes back to full when you’re ready to do more exercise. Power can be switched between body battery or actual watch battery. Hydration is just a timer basically, it goes down over 2hrs and when you tap on the gauge it goes back to full.”
